: After completing the graduation I have joined the defence organization in research and development. . Then joined the Customs, Central Excise Services as a class II Officer in 1980.
After my promotion as an Assistant and subsequent to Deputy Commissioner since in 1990 , I was transferred and was posted to different places viz. Patna, Ranchi, Pune, Satara, Ratnagiri and Kolhapur. I have worked in different capacities in the “Head Office “ with the Commissioner . In the field I was entrusted with the job of administering the Excise, Customs & Service Tax Laws. I have attended all types of work of the field and solved the problems of the assesses. The nature of duties was to administer the indirect taxation laws viz. CENTRAL EXCISE , CUSTOM , AND SERVICE TAX till my retirement in 2008 .
My longstanding association with Government of India,(Custom and Central Excise department ) has enabled me to give correct legal advice about the problems faced by the tax payers and save them from unintentional law violations by advising before hand. Because of the long standing association with the Department we have friendly/ cordial relations with the Retired as well as with the Working officers at all levels.
