Chanakya Excus Consultants
We introduce ourselves as the Consultants in the matters pertaining to Central Excise, Customs and Service Tax ( IPR,SVB, REFUND,DRAWBACK etc.).
We are the group of officers mainly who were in the Department of Central Excise & Customs and have worked for 25-30 and others are the legal practitioners including accountants. We have the experience by virtue of working in the various forums, sections/units and are thus aware of the procedure to be followed in the issues which are being dealt with by
the Ranges/ Divisions ,Commissioner ates, Departmental Appeals & Tribunals.
We are also aware of the day to day problems /difficulties faced by, Service providers, Manufacturers,

2) To prepare the reply to the Show Cause Notice which are issued answerable to A.C./D.C., Jt. Commissioner/Addle. Commissioner, and Commissioner.
3) To draft reply and to represent the case before Commissioner (Appeals) & Tribunal.

Name: Ashok Dattatray Kambli.
Age: 60 years, having a good physique.
Educational Qualification: B.Tech
: After completing the graduation I have joined the defence organization in research and development. . Then joined the Customs, Central Excise Services as a class II Officer in 1980.
After my promotion as an Assistant and subsequent to Deputy Commissioner since in 1990 , I was transferred and was posted to different places viz. Patna, Ranchi, Pune, Satara, Ratnagiri and Kolhapur. I have worked in different capacities in the “Head Office “ with the Commissioner . In the field I was entrusted with the job of administering the Excise, Customs & Service Tax Laws. I have attended all types of work of the field and solved the problems of the assesses. The nature of duties was to administer the indirect taxation laws viz. CENTRAL EXCISE , CUSTOM , AND SERVICE TAX till my retirement in 2008 .
My longstanding association with Government of India,(Custom and Central Excise department ) has enabled me to give correct legal advice about the problems faced by the tax payers and save them from unintentional law violations by advising before hand. Because of the long standing association with the Department we have friendly/ cordial relations with the Retired as well as with the Working officers at all levels.

EXPERIENCE: I have joined the Indian Revenue Service as a Superintendent of Central Excise and Customs in Pune Central Excise Commissioner ate in 1980.
As a Superintendent , I have worked in the different sections , holding different portfolios of the field formations such as Range, Technical, Classification, Valuation, Adjudication, Preventive , Appeals and Review.
As an Assistant / Deputy Commissioner , I was posted to different sections and have worked in the following sections of the Central Excise , Customs and the Service Tax for the period of more than 13 years. During the above period I was posted to various sections such as, Central Excise Division, Customs Division , Import Section , Export and Drawback Section, Baggage accompanied & un accompanied , Customs Anti smuggling Division, Preventive Section- Audit Section- Technical Section- Service Tax Section, Legal Section Statistical Section, Computer Section and Vigilance Section of the Mumbai Customs House and Mumbai, Pune and Belgaum & Aurangabad Commissioner ate . Besides the above field postings, I have worked in the Vigilance Section of the Ministry for the period of three years in Delhi
As a Joint & Additional Commissioner, I was working since 2002 up to 2006. During the above period I was supervising the divisional work including the Commissioner ate’s all sections and was directly reporting all types of matters/ disputes/ interpretations of the issues / cases/ proposals to the Commissioners,
I have left the job when I was posted to Aurangabad Central Excise Commissioner ate in May 2006. I am practicing lawyer now . Because of the long standing association with the Department we have friendly/ cordial relations with the Retired as well as with the Working officers at all levels
