EXPERIENCE----
I have joined as a Inspector, Central Excise & Customs in Pune Central Excise Commissionerate in 1975.
AS AN INSPECTOR,
I have worked in the different Sections , holding different portfolios of the field formations such as Range, Technical, Classification, Valuation, Legal, Tribunal , Preventive , & Customs field work.
AS A SUPERINTENDENT ,
I was posted to different sections and have worked in the following sections of the Central Excise , Customs and the Service Tax for the period of more than 18 years. During the above period I was posted to various Central Excise Division, the Chief Commissioner Pune’s technical Section, the Commissioner Pune’s, Audit - Technical - Service Tax , Legal & Tribunal Sections . Besides the above, I have assisted the Commissioner, in RAC/PGC meetings with industries to solve the problems faced by the trade. I have also worked as a Superintendent Technical in Pune-VI,VII.&VIII Dns. & Range Offices viz. Nagar Road, Mundhawa, Kasarwadi, Vadgaonsheri, Alandi,Hadapsar-I&II . I during more than 36 years of service , in the Department I have worked in various Sections including the Technical Sections of Division of Pune-I & Pune III of the Pune I Commissionerate including in the office of the Chief Commissioner Pune Zone.
During the service , I have drafted and dealt all types of matters/ disputes/ interpretations of the issues / cases/ refunds/review of the OIO, OIA,CESTAT Orders.
I recently retired from Dept. And now I am practicing lawyer. Because of long standing association with the Department I have friendly/ cordial with the Retired as well as with the Working officers at all levels.
